Hi everyone!
I have started a bunch of new things recently. I will most likely not be updating this blog anymore.
I made a new collaborative blog named Just Honnie with my sister based around our outfit of the days and craft projects that we do. Check it out here: www.justhonnie.blogspot.com
I've also started an Etsy shop for that blog. We will be selling most of our projects, such as needlefelted keychains, earrings, etc, polymer clay items, knitted scarves and customized apparel. We hope you'll check it out. :) www.justhonnie.etsy.com
Lastly, please support us by liking our Facebook page here: www.facebook.com/justhonnie. Your support is very important to us and will be greatly appreciated. This is a very important step in my life and I really hope that I can continue doing what I like to do, with a purpose. Knowing that people enjoy my creations makes me feel very happy and purposeful. :)
Thank you for visiting and I hope to see you over at JustHonnie!♥

Wow it's been almost a whole month since I last updated my blog. I haven't forgotten about you guys though! I just finished my internship so I'll definitely have more time to write more posts. :) Speaking of my internship, so much for my 'internship chronicles'... lol. That was such a fail. Oh well.. So let me tell you about what I've been doing lately. :D
This isn't going to be in any specific order, just whatever comes to my mind first. Read more »Labels: Blurb, Decoration, DIY, Shoes
It's been a while since I last update my blog! I've been so sidetracked lately. But I have a new OOTD from 2 days ago! A little late, but better late than never? :P

This past weekend was pretty hectic. On Saturday, I attended my boyfriend's friend's wedding. It's been a very long time since I've gone to a wedding that was actually held at a church so it was fairly interesting. I'm not religious in any way so it was a bit awkward when everyone else in the church started praying and kneeling. It was still a fun experience though. The reception was really nice. I'm not really a drinker so I was totally clueless about what to drink. So I just ordered a glass of champagne (so asian of me). After a while, I didn't want to drink it anymore so I went up to the bartender to ask her to make me something fruity. The first guy who served me didn't card me, but this woman did... I even look young with heavy make up on! So she ended up making me a Malibu Bay Breeze. It tasted so good! I could barely taste the alcohol! Afterwards, I asked my boyfriend to go get me a second one and the woman recognized him and asked him if she should change it up again for me. She made me something else, but I don't know the name of it. It tasted like fruit punch with a heavier taste of alcohol in it. Not too big of a fan...
We left the reception at around 10 to head to Atlantic City for the Raymond Lam concert. It was so amazing! I've been waiting for so long to see one of his concerts. haha. My boyfriend even got me one of those battery powered glowsticks that they were selling. :) I thought they didn't allow cameras in the event center, but turns out that they did! I regret not bringing my DSLR... so I had to use my mom's point and shoot that I 'smuggled' in (even though I didn't need to!) The quality is pretty bad, but oh well.. Better than nothing, I guess. Here's some pictures that I took:
Labels: Atlantic City, Blurb Monday: Today, I started off my morning with the weekly meeting that we have. Then I got assigned to do a quick and simple task. They wanted to make use of a corkboard, so I had to label some post-its and stick them up. After that, I had to help prepare the information for a video project. They sent me a template to work with and fill in the information according to the products and other information I could find on the client's website. After that, I finished writing one blog post. I was supposed to write two, but I started on the second one and didn't get to finish. Read more » Labels: Blurb, Internship
I finally got to go buy supplies for school. I was in need for a planner and new pens for the upcoming semester so I made my boyfriend come with me. I only use thin pens, either 0.38 or 0.5mm, to write with because if it gets any thicker, my handwriting looks really bad. I have tiny handwriting, so it turns out all cluttered. While at Morning Glory, I also went to visit the nail polish store to pick up some new summer colors. Here's what I got:
This is one of the blouses that I got on Memorial Day. I thought this blouse was absolutely gorgeous. The black edges and collar makes it look edgier. If you throw a blazer over it, it can also look professional. This shirt goes great with a black or white bottom. I decided to wear my black H&M shorts to complete the outfit.

It's been so hot lately and no matter what I wear, I'll end up being sweaty and sticky all over. Today must've also been a lucky day as well because the A/C was being weird at work and the room wouldn't get cold. Good thing I opted for this flowy yellow dress to allow more air flow through my legs!
Since today was Memorial Day, the mall had so many sales going on! We went to the mall at around 3pm, after my dad came home from work. There were lots of sales, but I wasn't really feeling in a shopping mood for some reason. Maybe it was because there was so many people and everything was so messy... But I ended up getting a few things from more organized stores. haha.

A few posts back, I mentioned about going in for an interview for an internship. I ended up getting the internship position, but never came back to write about it. I decided to wait until after my first day and write about my experience all together. :)
So naturally, as this is my first internship/job that I've ever had regarding my major, I was super nervous and excited at the same time. I had no idea what to expect on the very first day. As a heads up, I have no experience in web design whatsoever. So obviously I'd have to start at the very bottom. First days are always more relaxed and simple. All I did was browse a list of blog sites, read the articles (they're all related to web design) and familiarize myself with it a bit, and make comments. Nothing too extreme. It's a bit tiring on the eyes since I'm never actually too focused on a computer screen for too long. Not too exciting, but hey, it's a start! I can't wait until I get to start learning about HTML and other coding/designing aspects of web design. I'll probably be doing the whole blog commenting for the rest of the week and maybe even into next week before I start learning about other things though. Pretty excited about everything though! Can't wait to see what other stuff I'll be exposed to in this internship. Read more »Labels: Blurb
Today I decided to fill another miniature vial with something and I decided to make a bunch of them with a candy store theme in mind. I only made 2 jars of treats today though. Chocolate Chip Cookies and Gumdrops.

It was really warm on Saturday, so I decided to wear a dress. Now that I'm back home from school, I have all my dresses in one place. :) I think this is the 3rd time I'm wearing this dress ever since I got it about 2 - 2.5 years ago. I saw it sitting in my closet and decided to finally give it some love. Haha.

I went to the mall with my sister so she can hand in her job applications and headed back home to go out and celebrate my dad's birthday. Here are some outfit pictures I took today. Hey everyone!
This week was full of excitement and anxiousness for me. Firstly, finals are over so grades are starting to roll out into the gradebook for us to see. Hope I did well on them! Secondly, I was applying for internships and jobs for this summer to gain some experience in the Web Design field since I'm totally clueless in it, but it just seems so interesting to me. I got an interview offer for this Friday morning! I'm so excited and nervous. I'm always so bad at answering questions... Hope I do well on it! It's unpaid, but I think the experience would be totally worth it, especially since I'm taking Web Design next semester.

Today I'm going to talk about my recent purchase on Amazon. I bought these miniature bottles/vials to make Harry Potter potions and other decorations to put around my room as decor. ToniEllison on YouTube (I absolutely love her videos! I plan on remaking a bunch of her stuff because it's just so cute!) made these super cute and amazing potions from the Harry Potter series and since I'm a Harry Potter fan, I decided to make my own! So these are the bottles/vials that I bought on Amazon. Read more »Labels: Decoration, DIY, Harry Potter, Product Review, Vial Tutorials
Hope everyone's enjoying their Friday and weekend so far! So I went on a little craft shopping trip with my sister today. We decided to go to AC Moore since my sister wanted to get some craft supplies for her bracelet. They have a 50% off coupon available for this weekend too! I was browsing around and ended up buying these items:
