Hey everyone! Finals are finally over for me! Now that I'm officially on summer break, I can spend a lot more time on craft projects. So excited! Today I'm going to talk about my recent purchase on Amazon. I bought these miniature bottles/vials to make Harry Potter potions and other decorations to put around my room as decor. ToniEllison on YouTube (I absolutely love her videos! I plan on remaking a bunch of her stuff because it's just so cute!) made these super cute and amazing potions from the Harry Potter series and since I'm a Harry Potter fan, I decided to make my own! So these are the bottles/vials that I bought on Amazon. I decided to give Forever 21's false lashes a try since I didn't want to splurge on something I might not end up liking and throwing away. I ended up buying 3 sets total, 2 of them came together. I've only tried one out of the 3 pairs so far, but I figured that I'd just do a review on one of them rather than all 3. I only used them when I went to Mohegan Sun for the pageant. It felt weird to use them for 'everyday' use. Read more » Labels: Eye, False Lashes, Forever 21, Product Review I made another purchase a couple days ago. I was looking up makeup tutorials and this girl had an amazing review on Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear cream shadow in Opal. I decided to do some searching, as I wanted to try a cream eyeshadow to eliminate the problems of fall outs, creasing and smudging. The Bobbi Brown one got amazing reviews on Sephora's site, but after a short search, I found out the Make Up Forever's Aqua Cream works just as great and is offered in many more colors, so I gave it a try instead. I purchased two Aqua Creams, one in #5 Peach, and another in #13 Warm Beige. I saw this in a review by someone (forgot who) and I had loveddd it at first sight. I went on a little hunt to find it, only to find out that it is not available in the US yet. So during my trip to Hong Kong, I just had to get it. I was so excited when I went into The Body Shop in Hong Kong that I even did a little squeal. Of course.. no one other than my sister and friend heard me, but whatever! Hahaha. It was also cheaper than what I saw it online for. (On Amazon, Ebay, etc) I purchased this for 99HKD... which I guess is around $12-$13USD. Kind of pricey for an eyeshadow... but I just had to have it. So here we go! The Body Shop- Baked-to-Last Eyeshadow in Amethyst When I brought the product, it didn't come in any special box or packaging as any other eyeshadow you'd get from places like Sephora or other high end cosmetic stores. It was just sitting on the rack, in its plastic wrapper surrounding the case, like below. Labels: Eye, Eyeshadow, Product Review, The Body Shop So I recently made a trip to Mohegan Sun in Connecticut because my parents insisted that my sister and I went with them. In return, they promised us gifts from the Sephora that opened not too long ago there. Delighted and overjoyed, I scurried about the store, looking for things that I had really wanted. I wanted to get an anti-aging serum from Lancome, but my parents said that I was still too young to be using that kind of stuff. My dad insisted that we stick to makeup-related products. Then I came across the Benefit section. I then remembered that I had mistakenly purchased the wrong cheek stain in Hong Kong. So I quickly grabbed it without another thought and made my way back to my parents. On the way back, my eyes landed on a couple of Boscia items on a rack. I've heard raving reviews on their black masks. I had wanted to purchase one about half a year ago, but decided not to get it last minute. Since my parents were going to get it for free at the casino from all those points they accumulated, I figured why not. Enough of the nonsense talk now and onto the review!
