New Blog, Etsy Shop and Facebook page!
Hi everyone!

I have started a bunch of new things recently. I will most likely not be updating this blog anymore.

I made a new collaborative blog named Just Honnie with my sister based around our outfit of the days and craft projects that we do. Check it out here: www.justhonnie.blogspot.com

I've also started an Etsy shop for that blog. We will be selling most of our projects, such as needlefelted keychains, earrings, etc, polymer clay items, knitted scarves and customized apparel. We hope you'll check it out. :) www.justhonnie.etsy.com

Lastly, please support us by liking our Facebook page here: www.facebook.com/justhonnie. Your support is very important to us and will be greatly appreciated. This is a very important step in my life and I really hope that I can continue doing what I like to do, with a purpose. Knowing that people enjoy my creations makes me feel very happy and purposeful. :)

Thank you for visiting and I hope to see you over at JustHonnie!♥

Life Updates: Birthday, Shopping, Clay & Closet
Wow it's been almost a whole month since I last updated my blog. I haven't forgotten about you guys though! I just finished my internship so I'll definitely have more time to write more posts. :) Speaking of my internship, so much for my 'internship chronicles'... lol. That was such a fail. Oh well.. So let me tell you about what I've been doing lately. :D

This isn't going to be in any specific order, just whatever comes to my mind first.

Busy Weekend with Loads of Fun
This past weekend was pretty hectic. On Saturday, I attended my boyfriend's friend's wedding. It's been a very long time since I've gone to a wedding that was actually held at a church so it was fairly interesting. I'm not religious in any way so it was a bit awkward when everyone else in the church started praying and kneeling. It was still a fun experience though. The reception was really nice. I'm not really a drinker so I was totally clueless about what to drink. So I just ordered a glass of champagne (so asian of me). After a while, I didn't want to drink it anymore so I went up to the bartender to ask her to make me something fruity. The first guy who served me didn't card me, but this woman did... I even look young with heavy make up on! So she ended up making me a Malibu Bay Breeze. It tasted so good! I could barely taste the alcohol! Afterwards, I asked my boyfriend to go get me a second one and the woman recognized him and asked him if she should change it up again for me. She made me something else, but I don't know the name of it. It tasted like fruit punch with a heavier taste of alcohol in it. Not too big of a fan...

We left the reception at around 10 to head to Atlantic City for the Raymond Lam concert. It was so amazing! I've been waiting for so long to see one of his concerts. haha. My boyfriend even got me one of those battery powered glowsticks that they were selling. :) I thought they didn't allow cameras in the event center, but turns out that they did! I regret not bringing my DSLR... so I had to use my mom's point and shoot that I 'smuggled' in (even though I didn't need to!) The quality is pretty bad, but oh well.. Better than nothing, I guess. Here's some pictures that I took:

  Internship Chronicles- Week 2
This post is pretty late. I was supposed to write it up on Friday, but my boyfriend came to hang out with me so I couldn't do it. So I'll have to write it today, even though this week is almost over too. haha. 2 more days until weekend and Raymond Lam concert! So excited! Anyways, let's get started!

Monday:
Today, I started off my morning with the weekly meeting that we have. Then I got assigned to do a quick and simple task. They wanted to make use of a corkboard, so I had to label some post-its and stick them up. After that, I had to help prepare the information for a video project. They sent me a template to work with and fill in the information according to the products and other information I could find on the client's website. After that, I finished writing one blog post. I was supposed to write two, but I started on the second one and didn't get to finish.

  Spotted in the Black
This is one of the blouses that I got on Memorial Day. I thought this blouse was absolutely gorgeous. The black edges and collar makes it look edgier. If you throw a blazer over it, it can also look professional. This shirt goes great with a black or white bottom. I decided to wear my black H&M shorts to complete the outfit.

  Realization Hits Hard
I was just watching YouTube videos about 3 minutes ago when I suddenly realized something. It had such a big impact on me that my heart is suddenly racing and I just had to let it out on my blog. I'm known by everyone around me to be very forgetful and clumsy. Sometimes I don't realize something has happened until a few seconds to minutes later. This is another one of those times, except this time I was over a year late.

Over a year ago, something happened to me that changed my life and I guess, turned me into what I am today. I lost two of my closest friends because of one thing I said. At that time, I accepted everything to be my fault, and that I brought it upon myself. However, after what just hit me a few minutes ago, that is no longer the case.

  Internship Chronicles: Week 1
Beginning with this post, I will be writing an entry at the end of each week to talk about everything I have done for that specific week. I figured that this would be a good way to help me remember everything I've done (I'm known to be very forgetful) as well as let my readers get an insight of what's been going on with my life. :) Also might help if some of you guys are looking to go into a web design internship (with no experience)

I already wrote about my first day of the internship before so I'll start with my 2nd day. Also, I don't work on Fridays, which is why I skipped it.

  Yellow Fever
It's been so hot lately and no matter what I wear, I'll end up being sweaty and sticky all over. Today must've also been a lucky day as well because the A/C was being weird at work and the room wouldn't get cold. Good thing I opted for this flowy yellow dress to allow more air flow through my legs!

  Memorial Day Shopping
Since today was Memorial Day, the mall had so many sales going on! We went to the mall at around 3pm, after my dad came home from work. There were lots of sales, but I wasn't really feeling in a shopping mood for some reason. Maybe it was because there was so many people and everything was so messy... But I ended up getting a few things from more organized stores. haha.

  Internship Experience: First Day
A few posts back, I mentioned about going in for an interview for an internship. I ended up getting the internship position, but never came back to write about it. I decided to wait until after my first day and write about my experience all together. :)

So naturally, as this is my first internship/job that I've ever had regarding my major, I was super nervous and excited at the same time. I had no idea what to expect on the very first day. As a heads up, I have no experience in web design whatsoever. So obviously I'd have to start at the very bottom. First days are always more relaxed and simple. All I did was browse a list of blog sites, read the articles (they're all related to web design) and familiarize myself with it a bit, and make comments. Nothing too extreme. It's a bit tiring on the eyes since I'm never actually too focused on a computer screen for too long. Not too exciting, but hey, it's a start! I can't wait until I get to start learning about HTML and other coding/designing aspects of web design. I'll probably be doing the whole blog commenting for the rest of the week and maybe even into next week before I start learning about other things though. Pretty excited about everything though! Can't wait to see what other stuff I'll be exposed to in this internship.

  Flower Power

It was really warm on Saturday, so I decided to wear a dress. Now that I'm back home from school, I have all my dresses in one place. :) I think this is the 3rd time I'm wearing this dress ever since I got it about 2 - 2.5 years ago. I saw it sitting in my closet and decided to finally give it some love. Haha.

  Excitement Week
Hey everyone!

This week was full of excitement and anxiousness for me. Firstly, finals are over so grades are starting to roll out into the gradebook for us to see. Hope I did well on them! Secondly, I was applying for internships and jobs for this summer to gain some experience in the Web Design field since I'm totally clueless in it, but it just seems so interesting to me. I got an interview offer for this Friday morning! I'm so excited and nervous. I'm always so bad at answering questions... Hope I do well on it! It's unpaid, but I think the experience would be totally worth it, especially since I'm taking Web Design next semester.

  Crafts & Fashion Haul
 Hey everyone!

Hope everyone's enjoying their Friday and weekend so far! So I went on a little craft shopping trip with my sister today. We decided to go to AC Moore since my sister wanted to get some craft supplies for her bracelet. They have a 50% off coupon available for this weekend too! I was browsing around and ended up buying these items:

  Spring Break
It's been so long since I was able to make a post on this blog. The semester started about 2 months ago and I haven't had any time to make a detailed blog post or make any polymer clay figures. This semester has been packed with back to back assignments that keep on coming non-stop! Spring break was pretty relaxing, except for the paper that is waiting for me at the moment. Hopefully the remaining 2 months will pass by faster so I can get back to updating this blog and making more clay things.

This break went by at a decent pace, not too fast, not too slow. I went on a shopping 'frenzy' the last couple of days and bought quite a bit of stuff. I didn't take pictures of the items, but I will take outfit pictures when I get the chance to. :) (hopefully soon since the weather is warming up)

  FOTD & Haircut
It's been so busy for me ever since classes started! Presentations, essays, exams... it's like never-ending. :[ After all the working, I had a sudden urge to look decent for dinner. Haha. Maybe it's because I just cut my bangs last night... I'm quite proud of them! I tried to do a more straighter line this time to see how I'd look with "straight" bangs. My usual bangs are a much steeper slant. I think it looks pretty good! What do you think?

  Updates: Life & DIYs
A number of things happened the last couple of days and I thought I'd update and share with you guys. :) First off, I entered a couple of giveaways and I actually won 2 of them! I entered LoveSumMeiKup's Youtube giveaway for a Missha BB Deluxe Sampler. I received it in the mail on Thursday. I was super excited when I got it! I've always wanted to try the BB Boomer, but I read mixed reviews on it so I didn't really want to spend the money on it as it can be quite pricey.

Mohegan Sun Weekend- Miss Chinatown NY Pageant
This past weekend, I went to Mohegan Sun to attend the Miss Chinatown NY Beauty Pageant finals. My sister's best friend was a contestant in the pageant so we went to cheer her on. Although she didn't win, we still had a fun time. My mom was busy running around, trying to take pictures with Fala Chen, who's a famous TVB actress as well as Miss Chinatown NY 2004. She's so pretty! We didn't get a chance to take a picture with her, but we did take pictures with some of the contestants.

  Batten Ramen
The gloomy and rainy weekend just passed and I wanted to introduce another delicious place to everyone. I went back home to my parents this past weekend and dragged them out for a family dinner outside since we haven't gone out in a while. I was also craving some Japanese ramen as well. So we were deciding whether to go to Mitsuwa, which is a Japanese supermarket with a food court filled with yummy food, or a local Japanese noodle house called Batten Ramen. After remembering that my sister gets off work late, we had to go with Batten Ramen as Mitsuwa would be closed by the time we got there. Their menu is rather small, but that's a good thing for me when I go to noodle places. I always have a hard time deciding what I want if I'm provided with numerous options. I ordered the Batten Ramen, which is their name brand noodles (as you can tell by the name. :P) and a grilled squid appetizer. I must say though, the grilled squid wasn't very good. It's actually very pricey for such a small amount. I believe the price was around $8? The noodles was only like $7..
